Lift the wick assembly from rock. Leave fiberglass wick inside the glass insert. Place funnel into the wick hole in the top of the rock. Slowly pour oil into the reservoir. Do not overfill. Guide wick assembly into wick hole. You may have to twist the assembly into place. Allow a couple of minutes for the wick to absorb oil. Adjust the wick level to top of glass insert. If the wick is too high the candle may smoke. The candles can be used indoors or outdoors safely. The glass container holds 1 oz. of oil which is about 4 hours of burn time.

Every rock oil candle crafted is hand inspected for possible leaks and craftsmanship. Please handle all candles with care. Do not carry when lit. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Always use caution when using candles or any open flame.

The wick is fiberglass and will not burn away. It will never need to be replaced or trimmed.

Although most lamp oil will burn just fine in your candle, we recommend 99% pure liquid paraffin, which can be found in almost any hardware store or drugstore. It is rated as smokeless and odorless and burns beautifully.
